Iconography of the eye in Emak Bakia

Abstract
The following paper is an analysis of the film Emak Bakia. It focuses on the motif of the eye. The hypothesis maintains that the eye in Emak Bakia refers to the concept of vision. In order to prove this hypothesis, the article will use hermeneutics. For this reason, we will explore an iconography of the eye that develops from the photographic work of Man Ray to the work previously mentioned.
