Abstract

The possibility of making the presence of religious symbols in public spaces compatible in a non-denominational State is the legal concern that arises in this work, as a result of the observation of the religious phenomenon in the contemporary world in two areas of knowledge that are dynamic in essence: Law and Religion. The study analyzes the context of Brazil, particularly regarding religious symbols in the public sphere.
