Religion, Superstition and Fraud: The Gimenez Case (1993)

Abstract

This work comments on a criminal case in which a healer is convicted of fraud.  It examines superstitious beliefs and practices within the context of religious freedom and analyzes an unusual expert testimony delivered by professional magicians.
